Contact lenses provide an alternative to eyeglasses wear to help you see at distance and near. A comprehensive eye exam with contact lens fitting involves additional testing beyond what you would receive in a comprehensive eye examination. We use computerized digital corneal measurements and dry eye evaluation to assist us with choosing the best contact lenses for your eyes.

We fit soft disposable contact lenses (daily, two week, and one month disposable options) for single vision, astigmatism, and monovision or multifocals for presbyopia. We will choose a lens to try at the time of your eye exam and check it on you at that time.

You will be scheduled for a one week follow up appointment where we will check the lens on you again after you have worn it for a week. If you are happy with the vision and comfort of the lens and the lens is fitting well on the eye, we will finalize the contact lens prescription at that visit and you can order your supply.

If the lens is not giving us the comfort, vision and fit that we need we will repeat the process.

If you are a new contact lens wearer, Daniel will train you how to put the contact lenses in and take them out of your eyes. He will also train you the best method to care for your contact lenses to keep them comfortable and decrease our risk of any problems.

Daniel is very patient and prides himself with his ability to successfully teach new contact lens wearers!

Once we have finalized the prescription, you will be sent a link by text/email to a digital copy of your contact lens prescription. You can order your contact lens at any time convenient to you shipped directly to your address from the “Order Contacts” button on our website.

*If you wear contact lenses currently, please bring your boxes, packages or vials with you to your eye exam.

Incorporation of Advanced Technologies

Acuvue lenses integrate cutting-edge technologies to enhance both comfort and performance. Features such as HydraLuxe Technology contribute to a smooth and wettable lens surface, ensuring sustained comfort.

Specialized for Astigmatism

Acuvue provides lenses tailored for individuals with astigmatism, such as the Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism. These lenses deliver clear and stable vision for those with astigmatism.

Addressing Presbyopia

Multifocal lenses like Acuvue Oasys for Presbyopia cater to the visual needs of individuals experiencing presbyopia, a common age-related condition impacting near vision.

UV Protection

Certain Acuvue lenses come equipped with built-in UV protection, safeguarding against harmful UVA and UVB rays. It's important to note that while these lenses offer additional protection, they are not a substitute for sunglasses.

Prioritizing Comfort and Moisture

Acuvue lenses prioritize wearer comfort, featuring design elements that maintain moisture and prevent dryness, contributing to an overall comfortable wearing experience.

While multifocal contact lenses work differently than other contact lenses, one thing is the same, — wherever you look, they work. Unlike progressive glasses or bifocals, they don’t require you to look through a specific part of the lens. Also, with multifocal contact lenses, it’s not just about comfort and fit, it’s about finding optimal balance of near, intermediate, and far vision for you and your unique needs.

It’s completely normal to have a follow-up exam where minor adjustments may be made to your prescription based on your initial experience.
